this was my Grandfather who died in the Flu epidemic of 1917. He was married to Julia. They had 7 children.My father Christopher Jeremiah (Christy) was the oldest.My Grandmother died in 1921.I would like to find out anything about my great grandfather – called Jeremiah.

Charlotte Boxall married my 3 X greatgrandfather John Donohoe on 23 September 1822 at Maidsone, Kent. She died on 7 December 1842,age 60, at Hounslow, Middlesex. I’m not sure where she was born, but possibly Kent.

Joseph Carr married ELIZABETH DODD at Glossop, Derbyshire on 31 October 1836. They had at least four children, Martha, George, Eliza & Mary Jane. Mary Jane is my great grandmother.

Owen Donoghue (444)

Owen Donoghue was my gggrandfather. he married a catherine west (father william, mother Catherine o’connell) from the 1881 census we know she was born in Co Cavan. have been unable to trace own’s death certificate. we believe they were married in ireland and moved to glasgow because my ggrandfather, francis, was born there. they had another son james who died aged 18 and believe there was another son, john.

does anyone have any connection to owen.

Sarah’s Ship the Westland left Clyde, Scotland on the 29-01-1879 arriving in New Zealand, at Invercargill on 21-04-1879, and married her Husband, John J ODonnell from Doonally East, Catholic Parish of Peterswell, South East Galway, six months later in Lawrence, Otago, NZ. Sarah was born Carrownamaddra, Cty Galway,1858, daughter of Partick Ward and Bridget Cavender
Mary Warde, born 1823, died bef 1871, married William McInerney, bef 1850, Cty Galway, and then married Patrick ODonnell, born 1827, Hollymount, Cty Galway, abt 1850, died 1912, Doonally East, Cty Galway

John Donaho filed for several Land deeds during the 1760s in the Pee Dee area of the Carolina’s. This John Donaho settled near the Cabin Creek area of then Cumberland County, North Carolina.Do to the changing of county boundaries in this area during the 1700s the Cabin Creek area has been referred to not only as being located in Cumberland County, but also Anson, Bladen, Moore, and today’s Richmond County, North Carolina. Sections of this area were known to be part of the Old Cheraw District and Marlboro County, South Carolina at one time also. Any information concerning Donaho’s in the Pee Dee area of the Carolina’s in the 1700s would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
