Thomas Donohue (567)

Thomas Donohue and his wife Catherine Lane left Kerry with their children: Mary (c1857), Thomas (1858), Kate (1859), James (1860) and Michael (1862). They settled in Glen Cove and eventually the boys worked for a local starch factory.

John Grandfield (564)

Family legend has it that 3 or 4 brothers were expelled from Ireland for "ringing the church bells." This legend exists in other branches of the Grandfield family in other parts of the United States. I think this has to do with the tithe wars in Ireland and want to find out more.

William Patrick Bentham O’Donoghue (562)

Parents married in England 1908. William & Ada Kate nee Etherington. Both William’s entered the Royal Horse Artillery. Looking for any relatives uncles, cousins etc.

John Donoghue (556)

John born in Ireland in 1850. His son Joseph Alexander was born in Montreal Canada in 1887 and became a naturalized US citizen in 1890.
